More About Me
Caroline Scott's heart belongs to San Francisco, the city she fell in love with upon her arrival in 1986. Born and raised in Scotland, she lived in both London and L.A. before settling in the City by the Bay. She and her husband chose San Francisco as the perfect place to live and raise a family. With a Bachelor of Education from the University of Edinburgh and a Master's degree in Education from SFSU, Caroline's early career is anchored in education. The process of selling the family's first home in NOPA and buying a new one in Lower Pacific Heights is what sparked Caroline's interest in real estate. She maintained that interest while she focused on raising her three children and participating in bettering education in San Francisco through hard work in the schools, fundraising, developing a large circle of friends that remains strong after 30 years, and more. Drawing on her experience as a resident, homeowner, landlord, educator, volunteer, and friend, Caroline is able to genuinely connect with her clients and their families to help them settle into the neighborhoods she knows so well, and offer guidance as they navigate supporting their own local schools. Her thriving business, built heavily on referrals, is attributed to her dedication to her client's needs, supported by her keen active listening. Highly respected among other agents and by her clientele, Caroline is known for being fun to work with and for her charming sense of humor, balanced by a solid work ethic and accommodating spirit. Caroline's strategies for assisting buyers and sellers begin with creating a plan that reflects their specific goals, presenting a clear path with expectations, and taking the pressure off a process that could otherwise seem daunting by tying up all the loose ends along the way. Caroline effortlessly balances her professional time with her personal time, weaving community involvement, travel, and family time into her schedule. Like so many San Francisco residents, she loves walking her rescue dog around our beautiful City. Even though her children are grown, she continues to enjoy being involved in her clients' schools by attending their events and donating to their programs. Caroline is happy to offer a donation at close of escrow to her clients' schools or to other non-profits her clients are passionate about.
